What our Home Hub Academy means for you, the customer
In 2022, we launched our Home Hub Academy. This is our very own training facility, providing recruits with an 18 month programme of classroom work, hands-on work and coursework.
Not only does Home Hub guarantee first-class installers throughout our business, but it also provides a clear and accessible pathway for workers to start their journey into a professional and fulfilling career.
And this is more than just training. Home Hubbers are actively participating in an apprenticeship that is assessed by a third-party. This means that upon completion, they’ll have an official and authorised qualification in fenestration, which is a cool word that covers work around any opening in a building where glass, windows or doors may be present.
What does this mean for you?
We pride ourselves on two things at Home Hub. The quality of our products, and the quality of our the experience we deliver. We have every faith in the products that we supply, and only source the very best when it comes to doors and windows. We also take the same approach to our people. Our existing family of installers, specialists and customer service assistants have been hired for their attitude and aptitude, and much like our products, only the best will do.
The Home Hub Academy ensures that our experienced staff are training our incoming staff, which is a surefire way to be certain that quality and care is prevalent in everything we do. New recruits are not only learning the trade, but they are improving their product knowledge throughout their training, which means they can help you make the right decisions when it comes to choosing the right solution.
Go hard or go home
We don’t do things by halves (honestly, who wants half a door?), so we’ve acquired a dedicated 2,000 square foot space at our headquarters where Home Hubbers can learn in an environment where they can be fully immersed and engaged in their training. This space provides plenty of room to practise on real products before our staff are taken out to site.
Full accountability
Like our glass, we like to be transparent. Everything we do, from delivery, to customer service, to installation is done with the utmost care and attention. Which is a huge motivation behind the Academy. By formalising our training and holding ourselves accountable, we are continuing to promote the quality that so many of our customers know us for.
